Enjoying the Lakeshore of Kimiwan Lake
Please remember that when enjoying the natural beauty of the lakeshore that this is a nature wildlife habitat and is used by both people and animals. Stay cautious and alert for signs that animals have been there recently. Some precautions to take are: Stay alert, keep children near and keep dogs leashed. Report sightings of bears, cougars and other large predatory wildlife to the Town of McLennan at 780-324-3065 or the Peace River Conservation Office at 780-624-6405.
Trails & Rails Vol. 2 - A history book on McLennan is now reduced to $50.00 per copy and available at the Town Office, the Birdwalk and at the Legion during garage sales.
Tax Incentive for New Development in McLennan
A new policy has been passed that could provide you with a rebate of 100% on your municipal taxes for the first year. This applies to new development and improvements to exisiting buildings. A copy of the policy can be obtained at the town office.
